Wild garlic salad
Ramsons, also known as wild garlic, is an aromatic plant with a distinctive taste that adds flavor to dishes. We start the recipe by thoroughly washing the ramsons leaves under a stream of cold water, ensuring we remove any impurities. After washing, we let them drain in a sieve and then chop them finely, preparing the aromatic base for our salad.
Meanwhile, we boil a few eggs, ideally leaving them on the heat for about ten minutes until they become hard. When they are ready, we take them out of the water and let them cool. Once cooled, we peel them and cut them into small cubes. These will add a pleasant texture and a source of healthy protein to the salad.
In a generous bowl, we combine the chopped ramsons leaves and the egg cubes. Next, we prepare a simple and delicious dressing. We add carefully chosen mayonnaise, which will bring creaminess and a rich taste to our dish. The amount of mayonnaise can vary depending on preferences; if you want a lighter salad, reduce the amount of mayonnaise, and if you prefer a richer consistency, feel free to add more.
To balance the flavors, it is essential to add salt to taste. We carefully mix the ingredients, ensuring that each egg cube and each ramsons leaf are well coated with the dressing. Our salad is now almost ready!
For an extra flavor and texture, you can also add some chopped nuts or toasted seeds, which will bring a pleasant contrast and enrich the dish. This ramsons salad with boiled eggs can be served as an appetizer on a bed of green leaves or as a side dish alongside a juicy steak.
Use this recipe as a base and feel free to experiment with other ingredients. Enjoy your meal!
