Popsicle molds are an excellent choice for turning fruits into delicious and healthy snacks, especially on hot summer days. In this recipe, I will detail the necessary steps to create popsicles from oranges and bananas, but feel free to explore other fruit combinations as you mentioned, such as raspberries or cherries.

We start by preparing the ingredients. Choose fresh, juicy oranges and ripe bananas, but not too soft. These will provide a pleasant texture and a natural sweet taste. You will also need honey, which will enrich the flavor of the popsicles and make them more appealing to kids.

In a bowl, peel the oranges and remove the seeds if necessary. Cut them into smaller pieces to make blending easier. Then, add the bananas, peeled and sliced into rounds, and the honey. Using an immersion blender, blend the ingredients until you achieve a smooth and creamy mixture. If you want a tarter popsicle, you can also add a little lemon juice.

Once you have a fine fruit puree, it's time to pour it into the popsicle molds. Make sure to leave a little space at the top of each mold, as the mixture will expand as it freezes. Place the stick in the center of each mold and then put them in the freezer.

If you prefer a version with colorful layers, you can start with a layer of orange puree, then add a layer of banana puree and continue in this way. Although it is more tempting to wait for each layer to freeze before adding the next, I understand that patience is not always on our side, especially when we have impatient kids.

After a few hours in the freezer, when the popsicles are completely frozen, you can easily remove them from the molds by quickly dipping the bottom of the mold in warm water. These delicious fruit snacks are perfect for enjoying on hot days, providing both hydration and essential nutrients. Plus, they are a great way to teach kids to appreciate fruits in a fun and tasty way. Enjoy them with the whole family and savor every bite!
