Bread in Clay Pot or Roman Pot

 Ingredients: ~ 350 g type 650 flour ~ 100 g graham flour ~ 2 tablespoons olive oil ~ 270 ml lukewarm water ~ 1 teaspoon salt ~ 1 teaspoon sugar ~ one packet of yeast 7 g

This bread recipe is simple and delicious, perfect for adding a touch of freshness and flavor to your meal. We start by making sure we have all the necessary ingredients: 500 g of flour, 300 ml of lukewarm water, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 7 g of dry yeast. It is important to prepare the ingredients before starting to ensure everything goes smoothly.

The first step in making the bread is to add the liquids to the bread machine. We start with the lukewarm water, followed by the olive oil. These liquids are essential for activating the yeast and giving the dough a soft and fluffy texture. After adding the liquids, it's time to put in the flour, which has been previously mixed with salt and sugar. This mixture will help develop flavors and achieve a delicious crust.

On top of the flour, we add the dry yeast. It is important not to mix the yeast directly with the salt, as the salt can inhibit its activity. After adding all the ingredients, we set the bread machine to the kneading and rising program. This will take about 1 hour, during which the dough will double in volume and become elastic.

Once the program is finished, we take the dough out of the bread machine and transfer it to a floured work surface. We gently roll it out with a rolling pin, forming a not-too-thin sheet. Then, we carefully roll it up, forming a baguette or desired shape, which we place in a clay pot or baking tray. It is important to leave space for the dough to rise, so we let it rise covered with a clean towel for about 30 minutes.

Before putting the pot in the oven, we gently score the surface of the dough with a knife, making some decorative cuts. These not only help with aesthetics but also allow steam to escape during baking, helping the bread to rise evenly. We preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius, and once the temperature is reached, we put the bread in for 20-30 minutes. We will know it is ready when it has a golden crust and emits a tempting aroma.

After the bread is baked, we take it out of the oven and let it cool on a rack. This bread is perfect to be served warm, alongside butter, cheese, or any other favorite topping. Enjoy!
