To prepare a delicious cake, we start by mixing butter or margarine with sugar. We use a mixer to achieve a light and fluffy cream, which will be the perfect base for the texture of our cake. It is important to ensure that the butter or margarine is at room temperature for better incorporation. Once we have obtained a smooth cream, we add the ground nuts, cocoa, and flour. These ingredients will bring a rich taste and intense aroma to our cake. Don’t forget to add half a teaspoon of baking soda, which will help the cake rise during baking.

We mix all the ingredients well until we obtain a uniform composition. Then, it is time to add the beaten egg whites. It is essential to incorporate them carefully using a spatula, so as not to lose the air in the egg whites, which will give the cake a fluffy texture. After we finish mixing, we pour the composition into a buttered and floured baking pan or one lined with baking paper, ensuring it is evenly distributed.

We preheat the oven to a moderate temperature and place the pan inside. While the cake is baking, we prepare the glaze. By beating the egg yolks with sugar, we obtain a smooth and shiny cream. This glaze will add a delicious layer of flavor on top of the cake. After about 15 minutes, we take the pan out of the oven and carefully pour the glaze over the cake, spreading it evenly with a spoon to cover the entire surface.

After spreading the glaze, we return the pan to the oven, reducing the temperature and moving it to the top of the oven. We let the cake continue to bake for about 25 minutes, being careful to check from time to time if the glaze has set properly. When the cake is ready, we take it out of the oven and, while it is still warm, we use a grater to add grated chocolate on top, which will create an attractive appearance and an irresistible aroma.

It is recommended to cut the cake into portions immediately after grating, to enjoy its soft texture and the delicious combination of flavors. This cake will surely be a hit at any table, having a perfect combination of chocolate, nuts, and a fine glaze. Enjoy your meal!
