To prepare a delicious recipe for fried fish, we start by choosing fresh fish, preferably fillets of white fish or freshwater fish, which will turn into a savory and crispy dish. Before we begin the cooking process, it is essential to ensure that the fish is clean, so we will use a jet of cold water to wash it thoroughly. Later, with a sharp knife, we will clean the fish of any scales or bones, and we will cut the meat into uniform-sized pieces so that it cooks evenly.

After cutting the fish, we will place it on a clean kitchen towel to remove excess water. It is important for the fish to be well-drained so that it does not splatter oil when frying. Then, we come with a mix of spices to give flavor to our dish. A combination of salt, pepper, sweet paprika, and a little garlic powder will work wonders. After seasoning the fish, we will place it back on the towel and let it rest in the refrigerator for about an hour. This step not only helps the flavors to penetrate but also improves the texture of the fish.

After the resting time has passed, we will take the fish out of the refrigerator and prepare for the breading process. We start by taking each piece of fish and passing it through flour, ensuring it is evenly coated. Then, we will pass the fish through cream, which will add a pleasant creaminess and help the flour stick. Finally, we will repeat the process of passing the fish through flour again to achieve a crispy crust.

In a pot, we will add enough oil for frying and heat it over medium heat. It is important to check the temperature of the oil, so it is not too cold, which would lead to excessive oil absorption, but also not too hot, to avoid burning the fish. Once the oil is well heated, we will carefully add the pieces of fish, ensuring we do not overcrowd the pot. The fish will fry for about 15-20 minutes, turning it halfway through to brown evenly.

When the fish becomes golden and crispy, we will remove it to a platter covered with paper towels to absorb the excess oil. This dish will be delicious served warm, alongside a side of fresh vegetables or a green salad. Don't forget to add a slice of lemon for a fresh and revitalizing taste. Enjoy your meal!
