To create a hearty and flavorful cake, we will start by preparing the essential ingredients, making sure that each step is executed carefully to achieve a perfect result. The first step is to sift the flour together with the baking powder in a large bowl. This process is important because aerating the flour helps achieve a fluffy texture for the cake.

In another bowl, we will beat the eggs at high speed for about 10-15 minutes. This is a crucial stage, as aerating the eggs will significantly contribute to the volume of the mixture. Once the eggs have become frothy and have increased considerably in volume, we will gradually add the oil, continuing to mix. It is important to incorporate the oil into the egg mixture gradually to achieve a uniform and homogeneous emulsion.

Once we have obtained a homogeneous mixture, we will gradually add the milk, continuing to mix. This step will add moisture and make our cake softer and tastier. After the milk has been incorporated, we will add salt and a mixture of white, green, or black pepper, depending on our preferences, to give a touch of flavor.

The next step is to gradually add the flour and baking powder mixture to the wet composition. We will do this carefully, using a spatula or a wooden spoon, so as not to lose the air in the mixture. Then, we will incorporate finely grated telemea cheese, fresh peas, and the green flavors of basil and chopped parsley. These ingredients will add extra flavor and texture, transforming the cake into a delicacy.

While we are working on the mixture, it is time to preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. This will ensure even baking. We will prepare a cake pan by greasing it with oil and dusting it with flour to prevent sticking. The mixture will be poured into the prepared pan and leveled gently with a spatula.

The cake will bake for 45-50 minutes, and the aroma that will fill the kitchen will be irresistible. It is important to check the doneness with a toothpick – if it comes out clean, the cake is ready. After baking, we will let it cool slightly in the pan, then carefully remove it and let it cool completely on a rack. This cake can be served both warm and cold, making it ideal for a hearty snack or as an appetizer at a festive meal. Enjoy every slice, savoring the delicious combination of cheese and greens!
