In this recipe, you will discover how to make a delicious potato purée with canned pork, a simple and tasty dish perfect for quick lunches or informal dinners. With a mix of flavors and textures, this dish will surely become one of your favorites.

Ingredients:
- 1 can of pork in its own juice
- 6 medium potatoes
- 1 large onion
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 200 g broth
- 50 g margarine
- 100 ml milk

Instructions:

1. Preparing the ingredients: Start by peeling the potatoes and cutting them into cubes of about 2-3 cm. This will ensure even boiling. Also, finely chop the onion, which will add a special flavor to the dish.

2. Boiling the potatoes: Place the chopped potatoes in cold water with a pinch of salt (if you prefer, you can skip the salt since the canned meat is already salty). Boil them over medium heat for about 15-20 minutes, until they become soft. Check them with a fork; if they are easily pierced, they are ready.

3. Preparing the meat: In a deep skillet, heat a little oil or butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until it becomes translucent. Then, add the canned meat cut into smaller pieces. Let them cook together for 5 minutes until they brown.

4. Seasoning: Sprinkle oregano, basil, pepper, and paprika over the meat. Mix well to combine the flavors. Add the broth and let everything simmer for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. This step will enhance the flavors and give a pleasant texture to the sauce.

5. Finishing the purée: When the potatoes are ready, drain them and put them back in the pot. Add the margarine and milk. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher until you achieve a creamy and smooth purée. Taste and adjust the consistency by adding more milk if necessary.

6. Serving: Serve the pork alongside the potato purée, garnished with a little fresh basil if you have it on hand. This dish pairs excellently with a fresh vegetable salad or pickles for a contrast of flavors.

Helpful tips:
- If you want to add a note of freshness to the dish, you can add a few slices of tomatoes or black olives when serving.
- Substitute the pork with canned beef or chicken according to your preferences.
- You can experiment with different spices, such as thyme or rosemary, to customize the flavor.

This pork purée recipe is not only quick but also extremely satisfying, perfect for those days when time is limited but you want to enjoy a delicious meal. Happy cooking!
