To create a delicious and comforting dish, we will start with the basic ingredients. In a deep skillet, we heat a little oil until it becomes fragrant and shiny. We add finely chopped onion and sauté it over medium heat, stirring constantly to avoid burning. The onion will become translucent and release an inviting aroma, signaling the start of a savory recipe. Once the onion has taken on a pleasant golden color, we add the sliced carrot, which will bring extra sweetness and a crunchy texture to the dish.

At this point, we add a heaping teaspoon of salt and a pinch of vegeta to enhance the flavors. We cover the mixture with water and let it boil for about 10 minutes, until the carrots become slightly tender. When the water has reduced, we add the olives, freshly ground pepper, and enough water to cover the ingredients by about two fingers. We let everything simmer on low heat for 20 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend harmoniously.

Meanwhile, we take care of the pasta. We boil the pasta in salted water, being careful not to overcook it, as it will also be baked in the oven. When al dente, we drain it and set it aside.

While the pasta cools, we focus on the sauce. We add two tablespoons of broth and a few bay leaves to the skillet, which will provide a rich flavor and irresistible aroma to our dish. In a small cup, we combine a teaspoon of flour with warm water, mixing well to avoid lumps. We pour the mixture through a strainer over the food, ensuring the sauce remains smooth and creamy.

To add a touch of freshness, we introduce two slices of lemon, letting them infuse the sauce for two minutes, after which we remove them to avoid excessive acidity. Now, we mix the pasta with the warm sauce, ensuring each piece is well coated. We transfer the combination to a round pot greased with a little oil and sprinkle grated cheese on top, which will melt beautifully in the oven.

We preheat the oven to a medium temperature and place the pot inside for about 15 minutes, until the cheese turns golden and crispy. Finally, we take the dish out of the oven and enjoy a feast full of delicious flavors. Bon appétit!
