Chocolate and Strawberry Tart
To prepare this delicious and refined dessert, we start by making the cookie crust, which will provide a crunchy and flavorful base. The first step is to melt the chocolate together with the butter and milk in a double boiler. It is essential to stir constantly to achieve a smooth and homogeneous mixture. This combination of chocolate, butter, and milk will add a rich texture and intense flavor to the crust.
Once the chocolate is completely melted, we move on to the cookies. They are finely ground in a food processor until we obtain a uniform crumb. In a separate bowl, we mix the cookie crumbs with the Nesquick powder, which will add a delightful cocoa note. After the mixture is homogenized, we add the melted chocolate sauce and mix again until all ingredients are well incorporated.
We now prepare a tray or baking mold, in which we spread the cookie mixture, pressing down firmly to obtain an even layer. This will be the base of our dessert. Once we are done, we place the tray in the refrigerator to allow the mixture to set.
Next, we move on to the delicious filling. We start again by melting chocolate with milk, also in a double boiler, stirring constantly. Once we have a smooth cream, we add the rum, which will give a subtle and aromatic flavor to the preparation. Next is the mascarpone cheese, which we carefully incorporate, stirring vigorously until we obtain an extremely smooth and homogeneous cream.
This rich filling is carefully poured over the cookie crust, ensuring it is evenly distributed. Then, we put the dessert back in the refrigerator to set.
While we wait for the filling to stabilize, we take care of the strawberries. We wash the fruits, let them drain well, and then slice them thinly. These will add a fresh and vibrant note to our dessert. We arrange the slices of strawberries over the set chocolate cream, making sure to cover the entire surface.
To give them a shiny appearance, we brush the strawberries with a little olive oil using a brush. This trick will not only give them an appetizing shine but will also help with the absorption of vitamins. Finally, we dust the strawberries with flavored sugar and leave the dessert in the refrigerator until serving.
This quick, chocolatey dessert, freshened by the fresh strawberries, is perfect for any occasion. We are glad to have shared this recipe with you and hope you enjoy trying it out!
