Chicken Liver with Sauce

In another bowl, mix the flour, salt, ground pepper, sugar, and paprika to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Remove the livers from the milk, let them drain well, and coat each piece in the flour mixture, ensuring they are evenly covered. It is important that no pieces stick together, as each strip needs to cook evenly.
Heat butter in a skillet and fry the livers on all sides, but no more than 3-4 minutes, so they do not harden. This will ensure that the livers remain juicy and tender. As they fry, transfer them to a larger dish.
After frying all the liver strips, pour the sauce made from the sautéed onion over them in an even layer. Do not mix, as this will allow each strip of liver to absorb the flavor of the sauce. Cover the dish with a lid or aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven at a moderate heat for about 10-15 minutes. This step will allow the flavors to meld and become even more intense.
To complete the dish, prepare a mayonnaise sauce with mustard. Mix all the necessary ingredients, adjusting the quantities to your taste. If you are using store-bought mayonnaise that is already salty, check the taste and add salt only if necessary. This sauce will add a creamy note and a pleasant contrast to the fried liver.
Serve the livers immediately, alongside your favorite side dish and pickles or a fresh salad. This combination will turn every meal into a memorable culinary experience, full of flavor and delicious textures.
