Ingredients:
- One chicken (1 kg - 1.2 kg)
- Oil (80-100 ml, preferably sunflower or olive oil)
- Salt (to taste)
- Black pepper (to taste)
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 garlic cloves (crushed)
- 1/4 onion (optional, for flavor)

The chicken is an excellent source of protein, and when cooked correctly, it becomes a delight. In this case, choosing a fresh chicken will make a difference in the texture and flavor of the dish. 8. Turn the chicken back with the skin side down. Here comes the secret: pour 80 ml of warm water mixed with the crushed garlic cloves and the bay leaf. Cover with the heavy plate.
9. Let it cook in this sauce for 4 minutes until the water evaporates and the chicken absorbs the flavors.
