We start by preparing the necessary ingredients to create a tasty and hearty dish. The first step is to clean and chop the vegetables. We take a large onion, finely chop it, and put it in a heated pan with a little oil. The onion will sauté over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it turns golden and releases its aroma, a process that will take about 5-7 minutes.

Once the onion has acquired a golden hue, we add a carrot that we have peeled and cut into small cubes, along with two bell peppers, which we can cut into strips or cubes, depending on our preference. We mix well and let the vegetables sauté together until the carrot becomes slightly soft and the peppers lose their rigidity, about 5-6 minutes.

Once the vegetables are ready, we add beef or pork, cut into suitable cubes, and let everything sauté for a few minutes until the meat changes color and seals in the juices. After the meat has been sautéed, we pour in enough water to cover all the contents of the pot. We let it simmer over low heat, covering with a lid, to allow the flavors to combine.

When the meat is almost cooked, we add the peeled and cubed potatoes, giving them enough time to cook. The potatoes will absorb the juices from the meat and vegetables, enhancing the flavor of the dish. After the potatoes have boiled for about 15-20 minutes, we add tomato paste or fresh tomatoes, diced, along with a pinch of Delikat, dried thyme, and freshly chopped parsley.

We let everything simmer over low heat, uncovered, to allow the steam to evaporate the excess water and intensify the flavors. After a few more minutes, when all the ingredients are well integrated and have cooked evenly, we can check the taste and adjust the seasonings according to our preference. When everything is ready, we serve the dish hot, sprinkled with a little fresh parsley on top for an appealing look and an extra touch of freshness. Enjoy your meal!
