Cream puff
To make a delicious dessert based on gelatin and egg cream, start by preparing the necessary ingredients. In a deep container, pour in the cold milk and add the gelatin. Mix well to ensure that the gelatin dissolves evenly. Let the mixture sit for about 3 minutes so that the gelatin hydrates properly. Then, place the container on medium heat and warm it, stirring frequently, until the mixture begins to boil. It is very important not to let the milk boil too much, as the gelatin may lose its properties.
Meanwhile, in another bowl, beat the eggs together with the sugar and vanilla. Use a mixer to achieve a fine, yellow cream that will add a delicious flavor to your dessert. When the milk and gelatin mixture is hot, gradually pour it over the egg mixture, being careful to stir constantly, similar to how you would add oil to mayonnaise. This technique will prevent the eggs from coagulating, ensuring a smooth cream.
After you have well integrated the ingredients, let the mixture cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally to avoid lumps. Once the cream has reached a consistency similar to that of sour cream, it is time to combine it with the whipped cream. Use a spatula to fold the whipped cream into the egg cream gently, so as not to lose the air in the mixture.
Next, prepare the cake layers. From one sheet of dough, you can get two thin sheets, which you can bake on the back of a tray lined with parchment paper, without using oil or flour. After the layers have cooled, place the first sheet on a serving platter and pour the egg cream with gelatin over it. Smooth the cream well, then place the other sheet on top. Finally, dust the dessert with powdered sugar for an elegant appearance.
Put the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving, so that it sets well. After this time, the dessert is ready to be enjoyed, having a creamy texture and a refined taste. This recipe is ideal for any occasion, bringing a touch of elegance and freshness to your table. The delight will surely please everyone!
