Delicious Hamburgers
This homemade hamburger recipe is not only delicious but also a satisfying experience. Hamburgers are very versatile, and the choice of toppings can turn every meal into a unique feast. I will share how we enjoyed this recipe step by step to help you achieve the tastiest hamburgers.
We start by finely chopping the onion. It is important to cut it small so that it incorporates well into the meat and does not leave large chunks. Once we have chopped the onion, we put it to sauté in a little olive oil, stirring occasionally until it becomes transparent and soft. This process will bring out its sweet flavors. After the onion has cooled, we can move on to the next step.
The minced meat, preferably beef, is placed in a large bowl. We add a fresh egg, which will help bind the ingredients, and the breadcrumbs, which will add extra juiciness to the burgers. We finely chop the fresh parsley and add it to the mixture, along with the grated parmesan, which will add a touch of flavor. Finally, we add the sautéed onion, which, once added, will enrich the taste of the meat. We season everything with salt and pepper to taste, being careful not to overdo it with the salt.
After mixing all the ingredients well, we divide the mixture into six equal parts, forming the burgers with wet hands to avoid sticking. We fry them on a hot grill or in a grill pan for 4-5 minutes on each side until they are golden and crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside.
While the burgers are frying, we prepare the toppings. We chop the pickles into small cubes and mix them with mayonnaise, creating a delicious paste. We also prepare the vegetables: slicing the onion and tomatoes into suitable pieces and washing the lettuce leaves, ensuring they are fresh and crispy. We also cut the buns in half and place them on the grill for a minute to make them slightly crispy.
Now comes the most enjoyable stage – assembling the hamburger! On each bun, we place a burger, followed by lettuce, slices of tomato and onion, and a spoonful of the pickle-mayonnaise mixture. We cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately, savoring every bite. Enjoy your meal!
