To prepare a delicious recipe for cheese and salami balls, we start with the basic ingredients. In a large bowl, we put the flour, which will form the foundation of our dough. On top of this, we add the boiled potatoes, transformed into fine puree, an ingredient that will give the balls a soft and fluffy texture. We continue by integrating the beaten eggs, which will add moisture and bind the dough, and the grated parmesan, an ingredient that will bring a savory taste and intense aroma.

Soft butter, added at this stage, will contribute to the delicacy of the dough, while warm milk, in which we have dissolved the sugar and yeast, will activate the fermentation. We carefully mix all the ingredients, ensuring they combine evenly. We add salt, an essential ingredient that will enhance all the flavors.

After kneading the dough patiently, we obtain an elastic and homogeneous composition. We cover the bowl with a clean towel and let the dough rise for an hour in a warm place until it doubles in volume. Once the dough has risen, we divide it into 32 equal pieces.

Each piece of dough is then gently stretched by hand, and in the center of each portion, we add a drop of cheese and a bit of salami, the choice of which is up to each person. After filling each ball, we carefully close them, forming perfectly round balls. We continue the process until we fill all the portions of dough.

We prepare two 28 cm trays, lining them with baking paper. We place the balls in the trays, keeping space between them to allow them to rise again. We let the balls rise for another hour so they become fluffy and airy.

After this time, we brush the surface of the balls with beaten egg, to give them a golden and shiny color during baking. We preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and place the trays inside. We bake for about 40 minutes, or until the balls become golden and browned. The aroma that will spread throughout the house will be irresistible, and the final result will be a delicious snack, perfect for any time of the day. Enjoy the balls warm, alongside a refreshing drink or a fresh salad!
