Pasta with Lemon, Parsley, and Shrimp
Ingredients: 175 g pasta, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 200 g shrimp, the zest and juice of one lemon, and optionally a few slices of lemon for serving, a bunch of parsley chopped finely.
To prepare a delicious shrimp pasta recipe, we start by choosing our favorite pasta. Spaghetti, tagliatelle, or penne – each type of pasta will add a distinct note to our dish. Boil the pasta according to the package instructions, being careful to cook it al dente so that it retains its firm texture. While the pasta is boiling, we will focus on the shrimp, which will add extra flavor to this dish.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil, preferably extra virgin, over medium heat. The oil will not only add flavor but also a health boost to the dish. Meanwhile, prepare the shrimp; if they are frozen, make sure you have completely thawed and dried them well with a paper towel.
