Carefully crack them, remove the shells, and chop them coarsely with a knife, so that large pieces remain that will add a crunchy texture to the cake.
Once you have prepared all the ingredients, preheat the oven to a medium temperature of 180 degrees Celsius. In a large bowl, add the grated apples, chopped walnuts, sugar, eggs, and flour. Mix well by hand to ensure all the ingredients combine perfectly, creating a homogeneous mixture. Make sure there are no lumps of flour left to achieve a fine and fluffy cake.
