To prepare these delicious mini puff pastry bites with filling, the first step is to let the puff pastry thaw completely. Once the dough is soft and pliable, we will cut it into equal-sized squares, which will become the base for our muffin molds. It is important to ensure that the puff pastry is well rolled out to achieve a flaky and light crust.

After cutting the puff pastry, we will start lining the muffin molds. We place each square of dough into the molds, making sure to leave the edges slightly overhanging to create an envelope effect. These edges will help keep the filling inside and will add an aesthetic touch when baking.

In a separate bowl, we will thoroughly mix the remaining ingredients. These can include cheese, vegetables, meat, or any other preferred ingredient. It is essential to season the mixture with salt and pepper, tasting constantly to ensure a balanced flavor. Once the mixture is ready, we will carefully pour it into the squares of dough already placed in the molds.

After filling each square of dough, we will take the free corners and bring them towards the center, sealing only the tips. It is important not to tighten too much, to allow the dough to rise beautifully during baking. The remaining free corners will be folded back to create an attractive appearance and give a rustic look to our dish.

Meanwhile, we will take care of the oven. We preheat it to 220 degrees Celsius, so it is ready to bake our delights. Once the oven is hot, we will place the muffin tray inside, and it is crucial not to open the door for 5 minutes. This will allow the dough to rise and become fluffy. After 5 minutes, we will reduce the temperature to 180 degrees and let the muffins continue baking for 20 minutes or until the dough is nicely browned, becoming crispy and golden.

Finally, we will take the tray out of the oven and let the muffins cool slightly before enjoying them. These mini puff pastry envelopes filled are perfect for a snack, an appetizer, or even as part of a delicious lunch. They will bring a smile to the faces of everyone who tastes them!
