Preparation time: 30 minutes
Baking time: 20 minutes
Total time: 50 minutes
Number of servings: 4

Peasant's pizza is a simple and quick recipe, ideal for a family dinner or a gathering with friends. With simple and tasty ingredients, this pizza will remind you of childhood meals, full of flavors and delights. Let's get started!

Ingredients for the dough:
- 250 g fresh yeast
- 500 g flour
- 1 cup of lukewarm water
- 50 ml olive oil
- A pinch of salt

Ingredients for the topping:
- 300 g salami (preferably homemade)
- 200 g olives (black or green, depending on preference)
- 2 medium potatoes
- 200 g cheese
- 1 bell pepper (or sweet pepper)
- 1 hot pepper (optional, for those who love spice)
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- 1 teaspoon of rosemary
- Ketchup (for serving)

Preparation instructions:

1. Preparing the dough: In a large bowl, dissolve the fresh yeast in lukewarm water (not hot, to avoid killing the yeast). Add a pinch of salt and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until the yeast becomes frothy. This is the key to perfect dough!

2. In another bowl, sift the flour. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Start mixing with a wooden spoon until the ingredients come together, then knead the dough with your hands for 10 minutes until it becomes elastic and smooth. Cover it with a clean towel and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

3. Preparing the topping: Meanwhile, peel and slice the potatoes thinly. You can use a peeler or a sharp knife. Slice the bell pepper into thin strips and, if using hot pepper, clean and chop it finely. Cut the salami and cheese into cubes.

4. Preheat the oven to 220°C (thermostat 7). Place a pizza tray or a baking tray that you have lightly greased with oil.

5. When the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface. Then, place it in the prepared tray, spreading it evenly. You can use a rolling pin or simply your hands.

6. Now comes the fun part! Sprinkle potato slices over the entire surface of the dough, then add the salami, olives, bell pepper, slices of hot pepper (if using), and grated cheese. Sprinkle oregano and rosemary for a fragrant taste.

7. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until it is nicely browned and crispy at the edges.

8. Once the pizza is ready, let it cool for a few minutes, then cut it into slices and serve it with ketchup on the side. This adds a touch of freshness and sweetness!

Serving suggestions: You can add a fresh green salad as a side or even a spicy sauce for an explosion of flavors. You can also experiment with different toppings, such as seasonal vegetables, feta cheese, or even anchovies, to customize the pizza to your taste.

This peasant's pizza is more than just a simple dish – it is a celebration of simplicity and authentic flavors. Enjoy every slice and cherish the moments spent with loved ones!
