We drain the water and let them cool slightly so we can work with them without burning ourselves.

We start by pitting the olives, choosing either green or black olives based on preference. The olives add a salty note and a distinctive taste. Then, we pour in the olive oil and mustard, mixing with a spatula or a large spoon to ensure all the ingredients are evenly coated.

For an extra touch of freshness, we don't forget to add a few fresh basil leaves, which will bring an irresistible aroma to our salad. We mix again, so the basil perfectly integrates into the composition. Our salad is now ready, and its aroma will surely delight you.
