I propose a delicious chocolate muffin recipe that will turn every morning into a special moment of the day. We start by sifting the flour and cocoa into a large bowl using a fine sieve. This step is essential to avoid lumps and to achieve a fine texture in our muffins. We add the baking powder to the flour and cocoa mixture, ensuring that the ingredients are well combined.

In another, smaller bowl, we take care of the wet ingredients. We start by mixing the sugar with the four eggs, using a mixer or a whisk, until we obtain a frothy mixture of a bright yellow color. By incorporating the melted butter, we ensure that the muffins will be soft and fluffy. After the butter has cooled, we add the milk, continuing to mix to achieve a homogeneous composition.

Now is the time to unify the two mixtures. We carefully pour the wet mixture into the bowl with dry ingredients, gently mixing with a spatula or using the mixer on low speed to avoid large air bubbles. It is important not to overmix, just until the ingredients combine. The composition should be slightly viscous but not excessively dense.

To give a special touch to the muffins, we can add pieces of chocolate, nuts, or even dried fruits on top, depending on personal preferences. These additional ingredients will not only enrich the taste but will also add an appetizing appearance.

We prepare the muffin molds, whether they are silicone or paper, and fill them with the help of a spoon or a ladle, being careful not to overfill them, to allow the muffins to rise nicely during baking.

We preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and place the muffins inside, letting them bake for about 25 minutes. It is good to do the toothpick test to check if they are baked, inserting a toothpick in the middle of one; if it comes out clean, the muffins are ready.

Once you have tasted these wonderful homemade muffins, I am sure you will no longer want to buy them from the coffee shop! These muffins are ideal for breakfast, but also for the school lunchbox, being a healthy and tasty choice. So, I wish you much inspiration in the kitchen and, above all, Enjoy your meal!
