Fish with Sour Cream and Dill Sauce

Ingredients: 700 g white fish fillet (I used pangasius), 3 tablespoons of sour cream, Delikat, 1 tablespoon of flour, a bunch of dill

To prepare a culinary delight based on fish, we start by boiling the fish fillet in water with Delikat. It is essential to wait until the water reaches boiling point, at which point we add the fillet. This will allow the fish to cook evenly and retain all its flavors, and the boiling time should not exceed 10 minutes to avoid a too dry texture.

In the meantime, in a medium-sized saucepan, we add a little olive oil, which will enhance the dish's flavor. Once the oil is heated, we take a spoonful of flour and dissolve it in a little water, creating a smooth paste. This paste will be the base of our sauce. We add it to the saucepan, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. As we stir, we gradually pour in the broth in which the fish was boiled, so as to achieve a fine, sauce-like consistency. It is important to be careful not to add too much broth at once, so we can control the sauce's texture.

Once we reach the desired consistency, we let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes. At this stage, we stir occasionally to prevent sticking to the bottom of the saucepan. If the sauce's taste is too bland, we can adjust it with a little salt, being careful not to overdo it, as the fish has already been cooked in water with Delikat.

After the sauce has thickened and begun to reveal its flavors, we add the cream, which will add a smooth texture and a note of richness to the dish. Finally, we sprinkle fresh chopped dill, which will provide a contrast of freshness and a refreshing taste. We let the sauce simmer together with the cream and dill for about 5 minutes, gently stirring to combine the flavors.

After these 5 minutes, we carefully add the boiled fish fillet, ensuring it is well covered by the sauce. We let everything simmer together for another 5 minutes, so the fish absorbs the flavors of the sauce. In the end, we will have a delicious dish, with a creamy sauce and enticing aromas, perfect to be served alongside a side of fresh vegetables or rice.
