The coconut and Nutella cake recipe is an excellent choice to be enjoyed alongside a fragrant coffee or as a delicious dessert after lunch. This cake not only looks appetizing but also has a special taste, thanks to the combination of coconut and Nutella, which blend perfectly in each slice.

To start, prepare all the necessary ingredients: eggs, sugar, oil, flour, coconut, baking powder, and milk. Make sure the eggs are at room temperature, as they will whip better. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar using an electric mixer. Continue mixing until the mixture doubles in volume and becomes frothy. This is the essential stage, as the air incorporated here will make the cake fluffy and light.

Once the eggs and sugar are well mixed, gradually add the oil while constantly mixing. This will help achieve a fine and homogeneous texture. After the oil is fully incorporated, add the sifted flour along with the coconut. Mix well until there are no traces of flour left. The baking powder is the next ingredient to add. This will give volume to the cake and help it rise during baking. Finally, pour in the milk and continue mixing until you achieve a smooth mixture.

Prepare a baking pan with a diameter of 24 cm, greased with butter and dusted with flour to prevent the cake from sticking. Pour the mixture into the pan and level the surface with a spatula. Now comes the delicious part: take the Nutella and add it on top of the mixture, in spots, forming circles or streaks, depending on your preference. This will create an attractive visual effect and add a rich layer of chocolate.

Place the pan in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius and let it bake for about 30 minutes. It is important to check if the cake is baked by doing the toothpick test. Insert a toothpick in the center of the cake; if it comes out clean, the cake is ready. After it has cooled slightly, remove the cake from the pan and let it cool completely on a rack.
