To create a delicious and appealing glazed muffin recipe, the beginning of the preparation process is essential. In a small bowl, I started by mixing all the necessary ingredients. The first step was to combine water with the instant coffee, ensuring that I obtained a homogeneous solution. Once the coffee was completely dissolved, I added the rest of the ingredients, thus creating a well-bound and tasty mixture.

After preparing the batter, I moved on to preparing the muffin molds. I greased them with oil and flour, making sure they were well coated to prevent sticking. Then, I filled the molds with the obtained mixture, being careful not to overfill them, to allow the muffins to rise beautifully during baking. The oven was preheated to a moderate temperature, and when I felt it was ready, I placed the muffin molds inside to bake. I did the toothpick test after about 20-25 minutes, and I was delighted to find that they were perfectly baked.

While the muffins were cooling, I took care of the glaze. I decided to prepare a buttercream, but considering that I preferred high-quality margarine, I used 130 grams of margarine. I added 300 grams of powdered sugar, recommending that I use the store-bought kind, as it is finer and incorporates better into the cream. I flavored it with vanilla essence and added a few drops of food coloring to give it a nice appearance.

For decoration, I prepared a cone from a disposable plastic bag. I cut a small tip and attached a metal decorating tip. With a little blue liquid food coloring, I made a few lines on the inside of the bag to create a gradient effect. Then, I filled the bag with the buttercream and started decorating the muffins to my liking. I even added decorations made from sugar paste, creating ice crystals that gave a festive and appealing look. Thus, the muffins were not only delicious but also beautifully decorated, perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients: 3 cups flour, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 3 teaspoons instant coffee, 2 teaspoons baking soda, 5 tablespoons cocoa powder, a pinch of salt, vanilla and rum essence, 2 teaspoons vinegar, 1/2 cup olive oil (I think regular oil works too), 2 cups water. Glaze: 130 g margarine, 300 g powdered sugar, vanilla, food coloring.
