Stuffed turkey with fruits - a recipe that combines tradition with innovation, offering a festive meal full of delicious flavors and an impressive presentation. This recipe is perfect for special occasions, bringing a touch of magic to every table. In addition to its irresistible taste, the stuffed turkey with fruits is a healthy choice, rich in vitamins and antioxidants.

Preparation time: 30 minutes
Baking time: 2 hours
Total time: 2 hours 30 minutes
Servings: 10-12

Ingredients:
- 1 turkey (approximately 10 kg)
- 3 apricots
- 2 apples
- 2 oranges
- 2 kiwis
- 4 plums
- 2 nectarines
- 100 g raisins
- 100 g dried apricots
- 1 cup of oil (approximately 250 ml)
- Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

1. Preparing the turkey:
Start by cleaning and washing the turkey with cold water, ensuring you remove any leftover feathers or internal organs. It is essential that the meat is clean to achieve a delicious dish. Once finished, dry the turkey with a paper towel.

2. Seasoning:
Rub the turkey generously with oil, ensuring all parts are covered. This step will not only help achieve a crispy skin but will also add extra flavor. Sprinkle salt and pepper both on the outside and inside of the turkey to enhance the taste.

3. Preparing the filling:
Wash and cut the fruits into small cubes. You can use a combination of fresh and dried fruits to achieve a complex and varied taste. For example, apricots and nectarines bring natural sweetness, while oranges provide a refreshing citrus note. Add the raisins and dried apricots for a pleasant texture and intense flavor. Mix all the fruits in a large bowl and fill the turkey with this mixture.

4. Sealing the turkey:
After filling the turkey, use wooden skewers to secure the edges and prevent the filling from leaking during baking. It is important that the filling remains well secured to retain juiciness and flavor.

5. Preparing for the oven:
In a large baking tray, grease the bottom with oil and place the remaining cut fruits on the bottom of the tray. This will create a flavorful bed for the turkey and help maintain moisture during baking. Carefully place the turkey over the fruits.

6. Baking:
Cover the tray with aluminum foil, so the steam remains inside and helps cook the turkey evenly. Preheat the oven to 180°C and place the tray in the oven for about 2 hours. After this time, remove the foil and let the turkey brown for 30-60 minutes, until the skin turns golden and crispy.

Serving:
After the turkey has beautifully browned, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing. This step is essential as it allows the juices to redistribute and the meat to remain juicy. Serve it alongside sides such as mashed potatoes or a fresh green salad, and for an extra touch of flavor, you can drizzle each serving with fruit sauce.

Useful tips:
- You can also add other fruits, such as mango or pineapple, to vary the taste.
- Make sure the turkey is well-cooked by using a meat thermometer; the internal temperature should be 75°C.
- You can use turkey leftovers to make delicious sandwiches or soups.

Calories and nutritional benefits:
This recipe is rich in protein due to the turkey, but also in vitamins and minerals due to the fruits. A 10 kg turkey can contain approximately 3500-4000 calories in total, and the individual serving will vary depending on the slice size. The fruits provide a significant amount of antioxidants and fiber, making this dish a healthy choice for a festive meal.

This stuffed turkey with fruits is not just a recipe, but a culinary experience that brings joy and warmth around the table. Whether it’s a celebration or a gathering with loved ones, this main dish will surely be a success! Preparing is not just about cooking, but also about creating beautiful memories.
