Baked Pizza on Foil
Ingredients: Dough: 200 g flour, 80 ml water, 10 g yeast, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon sugar, 25 ml oil. On top we put: finely chopped ham, corn, grated cheese, hot pepper paste, ketchup, etc.
To prepare a delicious pizza, we start by dissolving fresh yeast in lukewarm water. It is essential that the water temperature is optimal, meaning it should be lukewarm, not hot, to avoid killing the yeast. We add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of sugar to the mixture, with the sugar helping the yeast to ferment better, giving the dough a slightly airy texture and pleasant taste.
Once the yeast is activated, we pour the water mixture over the sifted flour, beginning to knead with our hands. It is important to knead the dough well, so that the ingredients combine perfectly. At this stage, we add 25 ml of olive oil, continuing to work the dough until it absorbs all the oil and becomes elastic and smooth. When the dough no longer sticks to our hands, it is a sign that it has been kneaded enough.
After we finish kneading, we place the dough in a plastic bag to keep it from drying out and let it rest. It can stay in the refrigerator for a few hours, and this resting time will allow the dough to develop, thus having a more intense flavor.
When we are ready to bake the pizza, we tear off pieces of dough and roll them out as thin as possible. This will ensure a crispy and delicious crust. Grease a sheet of aluminum foil with a splash of olive oil to prevent the dough from sticking and to achieve a nice texture. We place the rolled-out dough on the foil and drizzle again with oil for extra flavor.
Now comes the fun part: we add our favorite toppings! We start with slices of ham, then add corn kernels, which will bring a sweet contrast, and grated cheese that will melt beautifully during baking. We don't forget the ketchup, which will provide a familiar and comforting taste.
We preheat the oven and place the pizza on the oven rack so it bakes evenly. After a few minutes, we will notice how the dough turns golden and crispy, while the toppings melt and develop their flavors. When the pizza is ready, we take it out of the oven and let it cool slightly before cutting it.
From the amount of dough described above, we can make about 4 larger pizzas, perfect for sharing with family or friends. This dish is not only delicious but also a pleasant way to spend time in the kitchen. Enjoy!
