Number of servings: 10-11 pancakes
A quick and tasty breakfast, pancakes are the ideal choice to start your day wonderfully. These fluffy pancakes are easy to make and can be customized with various toppings. Here’s how to prepare them step by step!
Necessary ingredients:
- 3 large eggs
- 450 ml milk
- 3 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
- 1 pinch of salt
- 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 450 g flour
- 2 packets baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
Step 1: Preparing the ingredients
Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature to achieve a smooth and fluffy mixture. It’s important to use quality ingredients, such as fresh eggs and whole milk, for a richer taste. Melting the butter can be done in the microwave or on the stove, being careful not to burn it.
Step 2: Mixing the ingredients
In a large bowl, add the eggs, milk, salt, granulated sugar, vanilla sugar, and melted butter. Using an electric mixer, blend the ingredients well until the sugar completely dissolves and the mixture becomes smooth. This step is essential to ensure a fine texture of the pancakes.
Step 3: Incorporating the flour
In another bowl, combine the flour with the baking powder. This combination will help the pancakes rise. Sifting the flour and baking powder together is a trick that prevents lumps from forming. Add the flour mixture to the wet mixture and gently stir with a spatula or whisk until you achieve a consistency similar to thick sour cream. Avoid overmixing, as the pancakes will become tough.
Step 4: Baking the pancakes
Heat a non-stick skillet over low heat. It’s not necessary to grease the skillet, as the butter in the pancake mixture will prevent sticking. Use a ladle to pour a small layer of batter into the skillet. Cook each pancake for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn golden and form bubbles on the surface. Flip the pancake with a spatula and continue cooking until fully done.
Step 5: Serving
Once you have finished cooking all the pancakes, serve them immediately while they are warm. You can plate them and decorate with various toppings. I recommend trying them with Finetti, whipped cream, and a drizzle of chocolate topping, but you can also use maple syrup, fresh fruits, or yogurt. Each variation adds a special taste and transforms breakfast into a delicious experience.
Variation suggestions:
To add extra flavor, you can incorporate vanilla, cinnamon, or lemon zest into the batter. You can also add chocolate chips or blueberries to the mixture for a fruity version.
These fluffy pancakes are perfect to enjoy at any time of the day. Enjoy your meal!
