It is important that the strips are of similar thickness to cook evenly.

Place the strips of eggplants and zucchinis on the grill, allowing them to brown for 2-3 minutes on each side until they achieve a nice golden crust. This step is essential as it will add a pleasant flavor to the final dish.

In a loaf pan or another baking dish, start layering the ingredients alternately. Begin with a layer of meat, which can be minced beef or chicken, well seasoned with salt, pepper, and herbs to taste. Continuing, add a layer of thinly sliced potatoes to create a delicious base. The next layer will be cheese, such as grated cheese, which will melt and bind all the ingredients together.

Repeat the layering process, alternating layers of meat, potatoes, and cheese, until the pan is almost full. The last layer will be the zucchinis and eggplants that you reserved earlier, to provide a pleasant appearance and cover the composition. Don't forget to sprinkle grated parmesan on top for a savory and crispy crust.

After arranging all the ingredients, cover the pan with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius. Let the dish bake for about 45 minutes. It is important to check from time to time to ensure it does not burn. When you see that the cheese on top turns golden and the ingredients are well cooked, it is time to take the pan out of the oven.

In parallel, the grilled eggplant strips can be filled with a cream cheese, such as mascarpone or ricotta. These can be served as a delicious side dish alongside the main dish, adding a touch of finesse and a pleasant contrast of textures.
