- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg (optional, for added flavor)
- Fresh parsley for decoration

Step 1: Preparing the spinach
Wash the spinach well under cold running water to remove any impurities. In a large pot, bring water to a boil, add a teaspoon of salt, and when the water is boiling, add the spinach and boil for about 2-3 minutes until it becomes soft. Drain the spinach and place it under cold running water to stop the cooking. Chop it finely and set it aside.

Step 2: Cooking the rice
In another pot, cook the rice according to the package instructions. It is important not to overcook it, as it will continue to absorb moisture in the loaf. Once cooked, drain the rice and let it cool.

Step 3: Sautéing the onion
