To make this fruit salad, we will start by preparing the raisins. In a bowl with warm water, we add a teaspoon of rum essence and let the raisins, cleaned of any stems, soak. This step will give them an intense flavor and a specific aroma that will enhance our salad. In another bowl, which should be large enough to mix all the ingredients, we put the pineapple compote, including the syrup, which will add extra sweetness.

Now we move on to cleaning and cutting the fruits. We start with the grapefruit, cutting the skin and the fruit slices, then continue with the orange, kiwi, and apple. All these fruits are full of flavor, and each brings a unique texture to the salad. We try to cut the fruits into similar-sized cubes to ensure an even presentation. After we finish with these fruits, we add the banana, which we will cut into rounds. It is important to sprinkle it with lemon juice to prevent oxidation.

After adding all the fruits to the pineapple, we drain the raisins from the water, gently squeezing them, and incorporate them into the mixture. Everything is mixed carefully so that we do not crush the fruits. In the end, we taste the syrup, and if we find it not sweet enough, we can add a teaspoon of honey to enhance the flavor. If we want an extra fragrance, vanilla sugar is an excellent choice.

The fruit salad can be served as is, but for a more festive look, we can garnish it with natural whipped cream.
