Aromatic Buns

Ingredients: 450 grams of flour, 260 ml of milk, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of honey, a pinch of salt, rosemary, 50 grams of butter, chopped parsley, a few cloves of garlic, rosemary.

To prepare these delicious rolls, we start by making the dough. We take quality flour, which we place in a large bowl, making a well in the center. In this well, we add the fresh yeast, which we previously dissolved in a little warm milk. This step is essential for activating the yeast, which will help ferment the dough and create fluffy rolls. We then add honey, which not only enhances the flavor but also contributes to a golden crust. Next, we continue with chopped fresh rosemary, which will give the rolls an unmistakable fragrance, and olive oil, which will help achieve a fine texture.

We begin to gradually add warm milk, mixing with a spatula or our hands until all the ingredients combine well. We knead the dough for about 10-15 minutes until it becomes elastic and smooth. After this stage, we cover the bowl with a damp towel and let the dough rise for an hour in a warm place until it doubles in volume.

Meanwhile, we prepare the delicious filling. The butter, left at room temperature, becomes soft and easy to mix. We combine it with crushed garlic, salt, finely chopped rosemary, and fresh parsley, thus bringing an explosion of flavors in every bite. Once the dough has risen, we divide it into eight equal pieces, shaping them into desired forms - either round or oval rolls, depending on preference.

We let the rolls rise for about 10 minutes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Here, we can play a little with their appearance; we use a knife to make a small cut in the middle of each roll, where we will add the flavored butter cream. This will melt during baking, infusing the dough with enticing aromas.

To give them a golden hue, we brush the rolls with a mixture of egg yolk and a little milk, although this step is optional. We preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius, and when ready, we place the rolls inside. We bake them for 25-30 minutes or until they turn golden and sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.

After taking them out of the oven, we let them cool on a rack, but not before enjoying the fantastic aroma that wafts through. These rolls are perfect to be served warm, alongside a fresh salad or as a side for various dishes. Enjoy!
