For the marinade, start by carefully mixing all the ingredients so that the flavors blend perfectly. Make sure to achieve a homogeneous composition, which you will let sit at room temperature to enhance the taste. This marinade will give the potatoes a special flavor, so don’t skip this essential step!

For the potatoes, carefully peel them and cut them into quarters. Ensure that the sizes are uniform so that they cook evenly. Place the potatoes in a large pot, covering them with cold water, to which you add a pinch of salt – this will help enhance the flavor. Bring the water to a boil and let the potatoes cook for 4-5 minutes. This step is not meant to fully cook them, but just to soften them a bit. After the time is up, drain the water and let the potatoes cool slightly.

Meanwhile, prepare a heat-resistant dish that you will grease with butter, ensuring you cover the inner walls of the dish as well. This will help prevent the potatoes from sticking and will add extra flavor. Once the potatoes have cooled, take them one by one and dip them in the previously prepared marinade, making sure to turn them so they are completely covered with the delicious flavors. Transfer the potatoes to the heat-resistant dish and let them marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. This time will allow the flavors to penetrate well into the potatoes, giving them an exceptional taste.

After the marinating time is up, preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Place the dish with the potatoes in the oven and bake them for 20-25 minutes or until they become tender and develop a beautiful golden color on top. If you want to add a splash of extra flavor, about 5 minutes before removing them from the oven, sprinkle some grated cheese on top. Leave them in the oven until the cheese melts and the potatoes acquire a crispy and appetizing crust.

These potatoes are delicious and can be served warm, either as an appetizer or as a side dish, alongside a fresh salad of raw vegetables. The rich flavors and crispy texture will delight your taste buds, turning this recipe into a true culinary indulgence. Enjoy every bite and cherish the moments spent with your loved ones!
