To prepare a delicious pizza recipe, start by activating the yeast. In a small bowl, combine the yeast with sugar and pour in warm beer (or milk or water). Let the mixture sit for a few minutes until it starts to foam. This step is essential to ensure proper fermentation, which will contribute to the fluffy texture of the dough.

Meanwhile, in another bowl, sift the flour and add the salt. Mix the dry ingredients well, then make a well in the center of the flour and pour in the activated yeast mixture. Add the 5 tablespoons of oil and, using your hands, start incorporating the flour into the liquid, forming a dough. Knead the dough vigorously for about 10 minutes until it becomes elastic and smooth.

Once the dough is well kneaded, grease the work surface with 1-2 tablespoons of oil and place the dough on the prepared surface. Roll it out with a rolling pin, choosing the desired thickness: thicker for a fluffy crust or thinner for a crispy one. It is important to work quickly, as the dough tends to soften, making it harder to handle.

Once the dough is rolled out, spread it evenly with a thin layer of pizza sauce, which can be made from simple ingredients. The most common ingredients for the sauce are tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, and spices. Then sprinkle grated cheese over the sauce, followed by the desired filling, cut into small cubes. This can include ham, mushrooms, peppers, or olives, depending on your preferences.

After adding all the ingredients, roll the dough from the long side, forming a log. Alternatively, you can roll the dough from both ends towards the center, achieving a more compact shape. Cut the rolls into pieces 2-2.5 cm thick and place them in a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush each piece with a mixture of beaten egg yolk and a little milk to achieve a nicely browned crust.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes or until golden and well-baked. These delicious treats are perfect served warm, alongside a cold beer, making them ideal for a night with friends or a family meal. Don't forget that the pizza sauce can be adjusted according to taste; simmer the ingredients together until you achieve the desired consistency and season with salt and pepper to taste.
