Cake with honey and lots of whipped cream

After this resting period, we divide the dough into three equal parts. Each part will become a delicious sheet. It is important to be patient at this stage, as the dough is relatively firm and contains nuts, making it a bit harder to roll out. Using a rolling pin, we roll out each portion on the back of a baking tray. The tray must be well greased or lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking. We bake each sheet until it turns slightly golden, which may take between 10-15 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius. Make sure the sheets are evenly baked so that they have a perfect texture.
Once the sheets have completely cooled, we take care of the sour cream. By whipping the sour cream with a mixer, we obtain a fluffy whipped cream. You can add sugar to taste, depending on how sweet you prefer the cake. It is recommended to start with a small amount of sugar and adjust according to your personal preferences. The whipped cream obtained will be used as a filling between the sheets.
Assembling the cake is a true art: we place the first sheet on a serving platter, spread a generous layer of whipped cream, followed by the second sheet, and continue this way until the last sheet. Once all the sheets are assembled, it is crucial to cover the cake with plastic wrap and let it chill for at least 12 hours. This chilling step will allow the sheets to soften and absorb the flavors of the whipped cream, resulting in an extremely tasty cake.
Although the appearance of the cake may not be spectacular, its taste will immediately win you over. The cake is refreshing and can be served during your moments of indulgence.
