To prepare a delicious main dish of stuffed peppers with meat and rice, we will start by preparing the necessary ingredients. We take two pieces of onion, which we will chop finely, then sauté them in a pan with 100 ml of heated oil. We add a tablespoon of paprika and let it sauté until the flavors meld. Once the onion takes on a slightly golden hue and becomes translucent, we remove it from the heat and set it aside.

Next, we take care of the rice. If necessary, we clean it and rinse it in several waters until the water runs clear. Then, we drain it well and add it to the minced meat, along with the sautéed onion. We season with salt, ground pepper, and Delikat, mixing everything well so that the flavors blend perfectly. It is important to adjust the seasonings according to everyone’s preferences to ensure that the filling is tasty.

The next step is to prepare the peppers. We cut them at the stem end, remove the seeds, and keep the cut part because we will use it later. We wash the peppers carefully to ensure that no seeds remain inside, then we set them aside to drain. We start filling them with the meat filling, being careful to gently press the filling with a teaspoon. Using the back of the spoon, we make a small indentation in the middle of each stuffed pepper, which will help with even cooking.

After we finish filling the peppers, we move on to the tomatoes. We slice a few tomatoes and place a slice of tomato on each pepper as an appetizing lid. In a large pot, we will place the leftover pepper slices from the cutting, along with 3-4 leaves of fresh celery. On top of these, we add the stuffed peppers, and if we have any tomatoes left, we can add those too. We sprinkle a teaspoon of salt, ½ liter of broth, a few peppercorns, and fill with enough water to cover the peppers.

To prevent the peppers from floating, we place a small plate on top of them and then cover the pot with a lid. We bring it to a simmer over low heat, allowing the flavors to reveal and combine into a delicious dish. Each flavor will penetrate the filling, and the final result will be a comforting meal that will bring joy to your table. After about an hour, the peppers will be ready, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Enjoy your meal!
