Jello Cake with Grapes
To prepare a refined and delicious dessert, we start by making a mixture of cream and marshmallows. In a large bowl, we add the cream and marshmallows, mixing gently until the marshmallows partially melt and integrate into the cream. This mixture is set aside for 10 hours, during which it is good to stir it occasionally to ensure perfect homogenization. This step is essential to achieve a creamy and fluffy texture of the cream.
Next, we take care of the vanilla pudding. In a saucepan, we boil the pudding according to the instructions on the package, adding the necessary water. Once the pudding has thickened and reached a velvety consistency, we add the gelatin, mixing well to ensure it dissolves completely. Then, we incorporate the apple sauce and lemon juice, which add a note of freshness and a pleasant balance between sweetness and acidity. We leave the mixture on the heat for a minute, stirring constantly to avoid sticking to the bottom of the pot.
After we finish preparing the pudding, we take the saucepan off the heat and add the halved grapes, gently mixing to avoid crushing them. This addition will give the dessert an interesting texture and a fresh taste. We pour the mixture into the prepared mold, making sure it is evenly distributed. We place the mold in the refrigerator to set completely, preferably for a few hours or even overnight, to allow the flavors to develop.
Once the dessert has set, it is time to remove it from the mold. To facilitate this process, we dip the mold in hot water for a few seconds, being careful not to let any water enter. Then, we gently invert the mold onto a platter, watching as the dessert elegantly releases, revealing the layer of grapes and vanilla pudding.
For a perfect finishing touch, we decorate the edge of the dessert with the cream prepared earlier. This will not only add an attractive appearance but will also provide a creamy contrast to the fluffy texture of the pudding. We serve this refreshing and flavorful dessert, admiring the combination of flavors and textures that will surely impress everyone who tastes it.
