We start by preparing a baking dish, which we line with baking paper, making sure it is well spread to prevent sticking. Then, we place the slices of ham evenly on the bottom of the dish, immediately followed by the slices of cheese, which will add a savory taste and creamy texture to the dish.

In parallel, we take care of the vegetables. We choose various colorful vegetables, such as carrots, zucchini, bell peppers, and peas, which we cut into small cubes for even cooking. They are boiled in a pot of water until they become slightly tender, but without letting them become completely soft. After boiling, we drain them, and while they are still warm, we add 100 g of grated cheese, mixing well to melt and incorporate it into the vegetables. This mixture is then carefully poured into the prepared dish, over the slices of cheese.

In a pan, heated with a little olive oil, I sauté the sliced mushrooms until they become golden and fragrant, thus enriching the dish with an intense flavor. The rice, used as the base of the recipe, is boiled in the drained broth to give it a special aroma. Once cooked, the rice is mixed with the sautéed mushrooms and seasoned to taste with salt, pepper, and possibly herbs such as basil or parsley. This mixture is carefully placed over the vegetables in the dish, creating a thick and flavorful layer.

For an extra flavor, we add a few slices of ham on top, which will create an appetizing crust during baking. After arranging all the ingredients, we can leave the dish in the fridge for a few hours, during which the flavors will blend perfectly. Once it has cooled, we carefully invert the dish onto a platter, ensuring the shape remains intact.

For a more presentable appearance, we garnish the plate with fresh greens or yogurt and garlic sauces, which will highlight the colors and textures of our dish. Thus, this recipe is not only tasty but also full of vitamins, representing an ideal meal for lunch or dinner, that will bring a smile to the faces of loved ones. Enjoy every bite!

 Ingredients: 200g ham, 900g vegetables (potatoes, peas, carrots), 2 packs of cheese (the square ones for sandwiches), 2 cups of rice, 200g mushrooms, 100g cheese, 150g cream cheese) for decoration - I didn't use this anymore.
