Ramson Salad
The vegetables are washed well and left to drain. Make sure to choose the freshest ingredients, as their quality will significantly influence the final taste of the dish. Ramps, also known as wild garlic, have a distinct and refined flavor, being a particularly appreciated ingredient in our cuisine. After washing the ramps well, cut them into pieces about 2-3 cm, taking care to remove any wilted or damaged leaves.
Next, prepare the onion and radishes. The onion can be sliced into thin rings, so it releases its aroma and integrates perfectly into your mix. The radishes, with their crunchy texture and spicy taste, are also cut into suitable rings, bringing a pleasant contrast to the dish. These vegetables combine harmoniously with the ramps, adding a touch of freshness and vitality.
After cutting all the ingredients, carefully mix them in a large bowl. Add salt, oil, and vinegar, making sure to distribute them evenly to achieve a balanced taste. The salt will enhance the natural flavors of the vegetables, while the oil will add a note of creaminess and bind the ingredients. The vinegar, on the other hand, will provide a splash of acidity that will perfectly complement the sweet flavor of the vegetables.
The resulting mixture can be left to rest for a few minutes, so the flavors meld together and become even more intense. This dish is ideal both as a side dish and as a fresh salad, perfect for a spring meal. You can serve it alongside grilled meat or use it as a filling for sandwiches. No matter how you choose to enjoy it, this combination of vegetables will bring a touch of health and energy to your table. Bon appétit!
