Step 1: Preparing the Mushrooms
First, make sure the mushrooms are well boiled. If you picked them yourself, choose fresh mushrooms and clean them well. Boil them in salted water for 20-30 minutes, then let them drain in a colander. It is important to let them cool completely to avoid affecting the texture of the salad. Once cooled, chop the mushrooms with a knife, being careful to get suitable pieces. Do not chop them too finely, as you want to maintain the texture.
Step 2: Preparing the Cucumbers
Meanwhile, prepare the pickled cucumbers. Cut off the ends and then dice them into pieces similar in size to the mushrooms. The pickled cucumbers add a pleasant contrast of acidity and crunchiness that will balance the flavor of the salad.
