Dough: It looks like a pizza, but it isn't... This is an innovative recipe that combines the delicious flavors of a tart with the familiar appearance of a pizza. Since I don't have the necessary tart pan, I decided to improvise, and the result is truly spectacular. The first step is to gather all the necessary ingredients to prepare the dough. You will need 250 g of flour, 125 g of butter at room temperature, 1 egg, 50 g of sugar, a pinch of salt, and 1 teaspoon of baking powder.

In a large bowl, combine the flour with the baking powder and salt. Add the butter cut into cubes and, using your fingers, gently knead until you achieve a consistency similar to that of wet sand. It is important not to overwork it, as you want to keep the dough tender. Then, add the sugar and the egg, continuing to knead until all the ingredients are perfectly integrated. When the dough becomes homogeneous, form a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, you can prepare the filling. Choose your favorite ingredients, such as cottage cheese, spinach, mushrooms, or even minced meat. If you opt for vegetables, make sure to sauté them a little in olive oil to bring out their flavor. After the dough has rested in the fridge, roll it out on a floured surface, so you get a thin sheet. Transfer the dough to a baking tray lined with parchment paper, making sure to evenly cover the edges.

Now it’s time to add the chosen filling, spreading it evenly over the entire surface of the dough. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and bake the tart for about 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden and crispy. When ready, remove the tart from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Served warm or at room temperature, this unique tart will surely be a hit at any table. It can be enjoyed as an appetizer or as a main dish, alongside a fresh salad. Enjoy your meal!
