Sweet Martini with Kiwi
Ingredients: 2/3 gin 1/3 white vermouth (martini) a few drops of kiwi juice
To prepare a refined and delicious drink, we will use a measuring glass, also known as a mixing glass, which is ideal for blending ingredients without shaking them too much. This method ensures a perfect combination of flavors while maintaining the desired texture.
Start by gathering all the necessary ingredients. You will need: 50 ml of quality gin, 25 ml of sweet vermouth, and 10 ml of orange bitters. Make sure all the ingredients are at room temperature so they combine better.
Once you have gathered the ingredients, take the measuring glass and carefully pour in the gin. Then, add the sweet vermouth, being careful not to mix just yet. This step is crucial, as we want the flavors to blend gradually, not to be shaken all at once. Finally, add the orange bitters, which will bring an intense aromatic note and a pleasant contrast to the sweetness of the vermouth.
After you have added all the ingredients, use a long bar spoon to gently stir without creating foam. Your mission is to achieve a homogeneous mixture while keeping the characteristics of each ingredient intact. Start by stirring from the bottom of the glass, gently lifting the ingredients to combine them. Continue this process for about 15-20 seconds, until the drink becomes slightly cool.
Meanwhile, prepare a serving glass. You can use a cocktail glass, which you can chill beforehand with ice. Once the drink is mixed, strain it carefully into the serving glass using a fine strainer to prevent any unwanted particles from entering.
For an elegant touch, you can add a thin slice of orange or a lemon peel as a garnish. The flavors will intensify and provide an appealing presentation. Enjoy the drink in a pleasant environment, savoring each sip and relishing the complexity of flavors. This simple yet sophisticated recipe is perfect for a special evening or to impress friends at a gathering.
