Meat Pie
Preparing the dough is an essential moment in the process of making this delicious pie. Start by gathering all the necessary ingredients: flour, water, yeast, salt, and oil. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients, then gradually add the warm water and oil. Knead the dough patiently, making sure to add flour until you achieve a consistency similar to that of bread dough. The best test is to check if the dough no longer sticks to your hands. Once the dough is well kneaded, cover it with a cloth napkin and let it rise in a warm place, away from drafts, for about an hour or until it doubles in volume.
While the dough is rising, it's time to prepare the filling. Choose quality meat, which can be pork, beef, or a mix, and chop it finely. Place the meat in a heated pan and let it sauté over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it changes color and loses its own juices. Once the meat is cooked, let it cool. Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and the chosen herbs, such as dill or parsley. Add these ingredients to the bowl with the meat, along with the raw eggs. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything very well until you achieve a homogeneous and fragrant mixture.
Once the dough has risen, it's time to assemble the pie. Preheat the oven to a medium temperature. Grease a baking dish with a little oil or butter and line it with baking paper. Divide the dough into two portions, one larger and one smaller. Roll out the larger portion into a thin sheet and place it in the dish, making sure to cover the bottom and edges well. Add the meat filling, ensuring it is evenly distributed. From the remaining dough, cut thin strips and place them over the filling, forming an attractive pattern. Brush the strips with beaten egg to achieve a golden and appetizing crust. Bake the pie on low heat for about 40 minutes or until it becomes golden and crispy. Finally, let it cool slightly before cutting and serving. This pie will surely become a favorite among family and friends!

INGREDIENTS: 300 gr beef, 300 gr pork, 300 gr pork liver, boiled, 3 eggs + 1 egg for basting, 3-4 green onions, 1 dill, 1 parsley, salt and pepper (to taste).
