To prepare a delicious dessert, we will need a few simple ingredients, but the preparation is essential to achieve a fine texture and a special taste. We start by dividing the amount of sugar into three equal parts, which will help us sweeten the different components of the recipe. In a saucepan, we bring the milk to a boil, being careful not to leave it unattended, as it can quickly turn into a sea of boiling milk.

Meanwhile, in a bowl, we mix the egg yolks with two parts of the previously prepared sugar and add vanilla essence, which will provide a divine fragrance to the composition. If you prefer a thicker texture, now is the time to add the flour, mixing well to avoid lumps. Once the milk reaches boiling point, we begin to gradually pour it over the yolk mixture, stirring continuously to prevent them from coagulating. It is important to keep the heat at a medium intensity and to stir constantly so that the composition does not stick to the bottom of the saucepan, remaining smooth and creamy.

After about five minutes of cooking, we will obtain a fine cream, which will be the base of our dessert. Separately, we take care of the egg whites, which we will beat until stiff peaks form, gradually adding the remaining sugar, continuing to beat until it completely dissolves. The egg whites should become shiny and firm, and this stage is crucial for obtaining fluffy dumplings.

In another saucepan, we bring water to a boil. Once the water is boiling, we use a soup spoon to scoop portions of the egg whites and dip them into the hot water. These dumplings will boil for two minutes on one side, after which we carefully turn them and let them boil for another two minutes. When they are ready, we remove them with a spatula and place them on a sieve to drain excess water.

The boiled dumplings can be carefully arranged over the milk-egg yolk cream, creating a pleasant contrast between the fluffy texture of the dumplings and the creaminess of the cream. Additionally, a delicious variation would be to boil the dumplings directly in milk, but in this case, it will be necessary to adjust the amount of milk in the recipe to ensure that the dessert remains consistent and flavorful. Finally, we let it cool, and the dessert is served cold, providing a refreshing and invigorating experience. This recipe is ideal for warm days or as a sweet ending to any meal. Enjoy every bite!
