Ingredients
- Pork: 700-800 g (choose a piece with some fat for richer flavor)

- Parsley stalks: from one bunch (for extra flavor)

- Pastry sheets: 1 package (make sure they are of high quality)
- Oil: 3-4 tablespoons (for greasing the sheets)
- Eggs: 2 (for the binding sauce)
- Sour cream: about 100 g (choose full-fat for a richer taste)
- Milk: 2 tablespoons (for a creamier texture)
- Dill: a little (fresh or dried, to preference)
Preparing the Ingredients
1. Meat: Wash the pork well and chop it finely using a meat grinder. This will allow the flavors to penetrate better.
2. Vegetables: Dice the onion into small cubes, crush the garlic, and chop the tomatoes into cubes. Also, finely chop the parsley stalks.
Cooking the Filling
1. In a wok, heat the oil over medium heat.
2. Add the onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
3. Add half of the tomatoes and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
4. Incorporate the minced meat, stirring until it changes color to white.
5. Now, add the remaining tomatoes and garlic, allowing the mixture to simmer for a few more minutes.
6. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley stalks. Mix well and let it cool.
Preparing the Sauce
1. In a bowl, beat the eggs with sour cream, milk, salt, and pepper. Add the chopped dill. This sauce will add a creamy texture and delicious flavor to the pie.
Assembling the Pie
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2. In a baking dish, lightly grease the bottom with butter.
3. Place the first pastry sheet, greasing it with oil, then add another sheet. Repeat this process for 5 sheets, greasing each one with oil.
4. Now, pour 1/3 of the prepared sauce, followed by half of the meat filling.
5. Place a new layer of oiled sheets, and pour more sauce and filling again.
6. Finish with a final layer of sheets, each greased with oil. Add the remaining sauce at the end.
Baking
1. Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 90 minutes or until nicely browned on top. The aroma that will spread throughout the house will make you eager to savor it!

The meat is washed well and ground. The vegetables are prepared as follows: onion diced, garlic crushed, tomatoes diced, and parsley stalks finely chopped. In a wok, we heat the oil. Once the oil is hot, we add the onion to sauté. When it starts to soften, we add half of the tomatoes. We let it cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously. We add the meat and let it cook until it starts to turn white. We add the remaining tomatoes and garlic, and let it cook for a few more minutes. We add salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley stalks. We mix well and let it cool. Meanwhile, we prepare the sauce for brushing the sheets. We beat the eggs well and then mix them with milk, sour cream, and dill. We add salt and pepper to taste. When the meat has cooled, we start assembling the pie. I made it in a yena dish, so I folded each sheet in half. We grease the yena dish with a little butter, then place one sheet of pastry, brush it with oil, add another sheet, and brush again... we repeat this process 5 times, using a total of 5 sheets. Over the layer of sheets, we pour 1/3 of the sauce and then add half of the meat mixture. We add another layer of sheets, brushing them one by one with oil, pour more sauce, and then the meat again. On top of the meat, we place the last layer of sheets, also brushed individually with oil, and pour the remaining sauce. We bake in the oven on low heat until golden brown. I left it for about an hour and 30 minutes. It can be served hot or cold. Enjoy your meal!
