Do you want to impress everyone with a colorful and tasty dessert? The Pink Cake is the perfect choice! This recipe inspired by Krem a la Krem is not only aesthetic but also incredibly delicious. In the end, you will get a dessert with a fluffy base, a creamy filling, and a delicious glaze, all in shades of pink. Let's get started!
### Ingredients
For the base:
- 6 eggs (separated)
- 6 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 packet of Strawberry flavored Crema Ole
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
For the filling:
- 1 packet of Vanilla flavored Crema Ole
- 200 ml of liquid cream
- 200 ml of milk
- Blueberries (optional, for decoration)
For the glaze:
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 3 tablespoons of water
- 150 g of dark chocolate
- 1 tablespoon of rum
For additional decoration:
- 1 packet of Duo Glaze from Dr. Oetker
### Preparation Method
#### 1. Preparing the base
- Start by separating the egg whites from the yolks. Make sure all utensils are completely dry, as grease can prevent the egg whites from whipping well.
- Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until they form stiff peaks. Gradually add the 6 tablespoons of sugar, continuing to mix until you achieve a glossy meringue.
- In a separate bowl, beat the yolks with the vanilla sugar and gradually incorporate them into the egg white foam.
- Add the Strawberry flavored Crema Ole and gently fold with a spatula, being careful not to lose air from the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a baking pan lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes, until the surface turns golden.
#### 2. Preparing the filling
- In a bowl, mix the liquid cream with the milk and Vanilla flavored Crema Ole. Whip until you achieve a thick and airy foam. This will add a creamy texture to your dessert.
#### 3. Preparing the glaze
- In a small saucepan, mix the sugar with water and place over medium heat. Boil until the sugar completely dissolves.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and add the chopped chocolate and rum. Stir vigorously until the chocolate is completely melted. If necessary, you can place it back on the heat to help the melting.
- Let the glaze cool slightly so that it thickens and is easy to apply to the cake.
#### 4. Assembling the cake
- Once the base has completely cooled, spread the vanilla filling evenly over it. If desired, you can add blueberries to enhance the flavor and appearance.
- Use a spoon to add the glaze, starting from the center of the cake and letting it flow gently towards the edges.
- Place the cake in the refrigerator for a few hours, so the glaze sets well.
### Serving Suggestions
Serve the Pink Cake cut into cubes, decorated with a few fresh blueberries and a drizzle of Duo glaze for a sophisticated look. This cake is ideal for parties, birthdays, or simply as a sweet treat on weekends.
### Possible Variations
- You can replace Crema Ole with other flavors, such as chocolate or caramel, to create new delicious combinations.
- Instead of chocolate glaze, you can use a white glaze made from powdered sugar and water for an elegant look and a sweeter taste.
This Pink Cake will not only bring a splash of color to your table but will also delight everyone's taste buds! Enjoy!
