We begin preparing a delicious baked cauliflower recipe that is sure to become a favorite among family and friends. The first step is to put a pot of water on to boil, adding a teaspoon of salt to enhance the flavor of the cauliflower. While the water reaches boiling point, we carefully wash the cauliflower florets, ensuring they are clean and free of impurities. Once the water is boiling, we add the cauliflower florets and let them boil for about 10 minutes. This blanching process will help soften the cauliflower, making it easier to digest and more enjoyable to eat.

In the meantime, we take care of the additional ingredients. We cut the ham into small cubes, making sure they are of uniform size for even cooking. In a separate bowl, we beat the eggs well with sour cream, mixing them until we achieve a smooth and fluffy mixture. We add the grated cheese, which will provide an extra flavor boost, and the diced ham, mixing everything with a spatula to integrate the ingredients.

After the cauliflower has been blanched, we remove it from the water and let it drain well, then allow it to cool slightly. While it cools, we prepare a heat-resistant dish, greasing it with a generous layer of butter to prevent sticking. We line the inside of the dish with breadcrumbs, ensuring every corner is covered, to achieve a crispy crust at the end.

Now, we come with a layer of cauliflower, which we evenly place in the dish, pressing it down slightly to level it. Over this layer, we carefully pour the egg and sour cream mixture, ensuring we cover the cauliflower well. On top, we add the grated cheese, which will melt and form a golden and appetizing crust.

We place the dish in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius and let it bake for 20-30 minutes. It is important to closely monitor the baking process, as the dish is ready when the surface becomes browned and crispy. Once it comes out of the oven, we let it cool slightly before portioning it.

It can be served alongside ketchup or sour cream for an extra flavor boost. This baked cauliflower recipe is not only tasty but also packed with nutrients, making it ideal for both vegetarians and those looking to reduce meat consumption. ENJOY YOUR MEAL!
