Homemade Pâté from Chicken Livers

If you can't find fresh chicken liver, you can opt for the frozen version, but make sure to thaw it properly before use. Also, don't forget the two generous packs of butter, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg – these spices are essential for adding flavor to the pâté.
After gathering the liver, wash it well under a stream of cold water, then prepare a pot with milk. Boil the chicken liver in milk for about 15 minutes. This technique helps maintain the juiciness of the liver and gives it a fine, pleasant texture. Once boiled, drain the liver and reserve the milk to offer to the cat or to use in other dishes.
When the liver has cooled, place it in a food processor, add the diced butter, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
