Pasta and minced pork pudding
To prepare a delicious pasta dish, we start with cooking the pasta. In a large pot, add 2 liters of water and a teaspoon of salt. Place the pot over medium heat and wait until the water reaches a boiling point. When the water is boiling, add your favorite pasta, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Allow the pasta to boil according to the package instructions, usually between 8 and 9 minutes. Once cooked, remove the pasta from heat and cover it with a lid to keep it warm.
Meanwhile, prepare the vegetables. Take a bell pepper, remove the seeds, wash it well, and chop it finely. Then, peel an onion, wash it, and chop it finely. These vegetables will add a special flavor to our dish. Place a saucepan on the heat, add a little oil, and sprinkle a pinch of salt. When the oil is hot, add the chopped onion and bell pepper. Sauté the vegetables for 3-4 minutes until they become translucent and the flavors are released.
After the vegetables have softened, add the minced meat (preferably beef or pork), which has been mixed with a pinch of salt. Mix well and let the meat sauté until it changes color. At this point, prepare the tomato sauce. Take a few whole tomatoes, peel them, and puree them in a food processor. Add this sauce over the meat and vegetables, mixing well. Simmer the mixture on low heat, allowing the tomatoes to reduce and thicken, and the flavors to combine, for about 15 minutes.
After the pasta has cooled, place it in a colander and rinse it with cold water to stop the cooking process. Then, transfer the pasta to a large saucepan. Add the meat and vegetable mixture, sweet paprika, and dried herbs such as oregano or basil. Mix the ingredients well to ensure the pasta is evenly coated with this delicious mixture.
To achieve a creamy pudding, add yogurt, milk, and eggs, mixing after each ingredient added. This combination will give the dish a velvety texture and a special flavor. Grease a baking dish with butter to prevent sticking, then pour the pasta and meat mixture into it. Beat the remaining two eggs with a pinch of salt and pour them evenly over the pudding.
Place the dish in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius and let it bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the surface is golden and browned. Finally, remove the pudding from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve this dish warm, alongside a fresh salad or a side of vegetables, and enjoy a culinary delight that will surely impress all your loved ones!
Ingredients: 200 g pasta in the shape of stars + 2 l water for boiling them + salt; two green bell peppers; one onion; 300 g minced pork; two tomatoes from a can of whole peeled tomatoes in tomato juice; half a teaspoon of sweet paprika; dried oregano; dried basil; 140 g yogurt; 4 tablespoons milk; 4 eggs; salt. In addition: butter for greasing the tray; two eggs + a pinch of salt to put on top of the pudding; 2-3 tablespoons oil for sautéing the vegetables.
