To prepare a delicious and nutritious salad, we start by washing the potatoes well under a stream of cold water, making sure to remove any impurities. After all the ingredients have boiled, it is important to let them cool. This step is essential because if we use them warm, they can alter the final texture of the salad. Once cooled, we peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes, along with the carrot and parsnip. The cucumbers, which will add a note of freshness, are also cut into small cubes and left to drain excess water so that they do not dilute the salad.

After the egg has cooled, we peel it and chop it finely to add to our mixture. In a large bowl, we combine all the ingredients: celery, carrot, parsnip, potatoes, egg, and cucumbers. Now is the time to add a fresh apple, which we peel and grate using a large grater. It is important to squeeze the apple after grating to remove excess juice, which could affect the consistency of the salad.

We now add two generous tablespoons of mayonnaise, which will enrich the flavor and texture of the dish. We season with salt, pepper to taste, and add finely chopped dill, which will provide an unmistakable aroma. We mix everything carefully, ensuring that each ingredient is well incorporated. It is recommended to let the salad chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes for the flavors to blend harmoniously.

This salad can easily be adapted according to preferences, with the possibility of doubling or tripling the quantities of ingredients.
