This fake loaf is a delicious and quick alternative for those who want to enjoy a meal full of flavors and textures, without using lamb meat. The preparation is simple, and the result is a savory combination of ingredients that will delight your taste buds.

Ingredients:

- 300 g liver pâté (preferably homemade for a more authentic taste)
- 150 g rice
- 1 large onion
- 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 large eggs
- 100 g fresh herbs (parsley, dill)
- 1-2 garlic cloves (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1/2 liter water (for cooking the rice)
- Flour for lining the baking tray

Step by step:

1. Preparing the rice: In a pot, add 1/2 liter of water and a pinch of salt, then bring to a boil. Add the rinsed rice and let it boil for 10-12 minutes until soft. Drain the rice and let it cool.

2. Sautéing the onion: In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent, about 5-7 minutes. If you choose to use garlic, add it in the last 2 minutes of sautéing to preserve its aroma.

3. Mixing the ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, sautéed onion, liver pâté, beaten eggs, finely chopped herbs, salt, pepper, and sweet paprika. Mix well until you achieve a homogeneous mixture.

4. Preparing the mold: Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with flour, making sure it is well covered on all sides to prevent sticking.

5. Baking the loaf: Pour the mixture into the tray and smooth it out with a spatula. Bake the loaf in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until it browns and becomes firm to the touch.

6. Cooling and serving: Let the loaf cool in the tray for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a platter. You can serve it warm or cold, sliced. It is perfect alongside a fresh green salad or pickles.

Practical tips:

- For a more intense flavor, you can add spices like cumin or nutmeg to the mixture.
- If you want a healthier version, you can use liver pâté made from organic or vegetable ingredients to create a vegetarian fake loaf recipe.
- This loaf can be prepared a day in advance, and its flavor will intensify, making it perfect for festive meals.
- Use a silicone mold to avoid sticking and to facilitate the loaf's release.
